Monthly Archives: October 2014
The whole building pongs of onions and garlic but don’t worry no vampires will be visiting us soon. We have been creating some amazing bulb prints, see for yourself on our display boards (outside of Mr Harris’ room). Mrs Jeal has helped you all to create some really beautiful prints, just using bulbs.
Mr Hiscutt has planted over one thousand bulbs. I really can’t wait to see them next spring.
Thank you to all of the children who helped me to build up our stock cupboards. We are now the proud owners of ‘Apple and Rosehip Jelly’, ‘Apple Butter’ and ‘Bonfire Chutney’. All of the children will get a chance to sample our tasty treats during our exploration of the Neanderthals block.
I was looking into a field (that is right behind my house) it was a baby dear and it ran across the field.
MS Year 6
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Guppies today, who were so well behaved this morning. They were very sensible doing the fire alarm. One of the children have used their learning journals today to write a beautiful poem:
An Odd Seed Poem
A seed of shade and green,
Pouring down across their scene.
Strange things unknown,
It’s glories and mysteries un-shown.
A source inside of growing berries,
Blooming with colour of cherries.
Mysteries as strange as many,
It’s force inside as strong as any,
An odd seed.
I thought this was an amazing poem. Well done.
