We always value our partnership with parents and hope that you will be able to support us by making sure that the children are punctual at the start of the school day and attend wearing school uniform.
So that we can take the necessary additional cleaning measures throughout the day, we ask that your child only brings in a coat, water bottle and lunch box. Please ensure that all items are named and encourage your child to look after their belongings as we will not be able to store large quantities of lost property.
In order that we keep the number of people on the school site to a minimum, parents will not yet be able to come into the school office and we will ask that communication continues to be by telephone and email.
The start and end of the school day will be staggered to ensure safe entry and exit to the school site via designated entry / exit gates which are identified on the plan. Reception children can be taken to their classrooms, Years 1 and 2 children can be taken by a parent to the infant playground and all junior children will leave parents at the school gate and walk across the playground to their classroom door. All gates will be manned by staff to ensure that the routines flow successfully and children are supervised at all times.
If you are bringing more than one younger child to school and they are scheduled to start at different times, if needed, you can bring all children at the youngest child’s start time and use this gate for your family at the beginning and end of the day.

Playtime
Playtime in the morning is staggered. Reception children and Key Stage 1 will also have an afternoon playtime.
Getting to school
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.
Assemblies
Assemblies are held regularly in the school hall, a year group at a time.
Breakfast Club
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, with priority based on a parent working role. Spaces are limited due to current Health and Safety restrictions in place for Covid19.
Breakfast club will open at 8am and children will be seated in their year groups in the hall and then be sent to their classrooms for the beginning of the day.
We are very fortunate to be sponsored by Greggs so that we can offer this service free of charge.
Pupils can choose from our large range of cereals – Alpen, Weetabix, Bran Flakes, Rice Krispies, Shreddies or Corn Flakes, white or brown toast with jam, marmalade, marmite, honey or lemon curd and fruit juice or water.
If you would like to book a place please email adminoffice@warrenpark.hants.sch.uk. Spaces will be confirmed by email/text.

After School Club/Kids Club
We start at 3.10pm to 6pm. Priority will be given to pupils that attend Warren Park Primary School and currently for working parents. This is due to the fact that Health and Safety restrictions are still in place for the Covid19 situation. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. We provide a safe environment for your child to come and play. We are very lucky to be able to have the school grounds to play and explore in. We charge £7.00 a day per child. Your child will have a healthy snack and unlimited juice and water.
Spaces are limited as we now have to split the club for Key Stage 1 (Infants) and Key Stage 2 children (Juniors).
Please contact the school office if you need to reserve a space for the future.
Spaces will be confirmed via email by the Kids Club Leader Tracy Chapman. Payment for the after school care must be paid for beforehand. Children will not be accepted if payment has not been received.
