This is the final session to get the birds finished for our bunting.
This project has allowed the children to experience and demonstrate how to use a template, cut out and sew. They have joined textiles using the basic running stitch technique.
Key stage 1 glued their details onto their birds.
Key stage 2 sewed on the birds’ details and a piece of ribbon.
The birds are threaded onto a strip of ribbon to make our bunting.
This was the opportunity for the children to combine all their previous learning and produce a piece of work for our whole school project.
