Dance for Diabetes

This Friday, children are invited to wear colourful and comfortable clothing to celebrate our Dance for Diabetes charity event. We’re excited to see everyone perform the dance together on the playground. A big thank you to all our wonderful fundraisers who have already been collecting donations!

Warm Weather

As we enjoy this spell of fine weather, please ensure your child is protected with sunblock before coming to school. While staff will remind children about sun safety, they are not able to apply sunblock. Please also make sure your child brings a sun hat and a named water bottle to school each day.

Sports Days

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our upcoming Sports Days and hope the lovely weather continues after the half-term break. In case the weather turns, we recommend that children bring their packed lunch to school rather than having it brought in at lunchtime for the picnic.

In line with health and safety guidance from the Local Authority, we will no longer be holding parents’ races during Sports Day. We understand this may be disappointing, but this decision has been made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Scooters and Bikes

It’s been great to see so many children riding and scooting to school in the dry weather. Please ensure that scooters and bikes are walked on and off the school site at the beginning and end of the day. We’ve recently had an injury due to a collision during this busy time, so we appreciate your support in reinforcing this important safety rule.

Well Done to Year 6

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 pupils for the mature and determined way they approached their Key Stage 2 SATs. Well done to each and every one of you for giving your very best!
