Happy Easter!

What a fantastic Spring Term it’s been in Year 6!

We’ve packed so much in over the past few months and the children have really risen to every challenge. One of the highlights has definitely been our reward trip to Soft Play Horizon – a well-earned treat and a brilliant way to celebrate all the hard work we’ve seen across the year group. Lots of smiles, laughter and energy all round!

Back in the classroom, there’s been a real sense of focus as we’ve begun our dedicated preparation for SATs week. The children have shown great maturity and determination, and we’re really proud of the effort they’re putting in every day. There’s a real 'we’ve got this' attitude building, which is lovely to see.

Attendance has also been so much better this term. We’ve seen a fantastic improvement overall, with lots more 'green' 100% attendance days being celebrated. A special shout-out goes to Dolphins, who are currently leading the way – just ahead of the Baboons! The friendly competition is definitely keeping everyone motivated.

We were also incredibly proud of the girls who attended the 'Strong Women: Bright Futures' event at Park. It was an inspiring trip that gave them lots of exciting ideas about future careers and ambitions. They represented Warren Park brilliantly and were a real credit to our school community – we couldn’t have asked for better role models.

It was also fantastic to see so many of you at our recent parents’ evenings. Thank you for taking the time to come in and talk about your child’s progress – those conversations are so valuable. For many families, this is your final year with us, which made it even more special to catch up and reflect on how far the children have come on their journey.

All in all, it’s been a busy, positive and successful term. We’re looking forward to carrying this momentum into the summer term and, of course, we can't wait for our special 'Year 6' summer :-)
