Our youngest designers have been exploring movement and materials in creative ways. Indoors, children used modelling resources to build ramps and slides for toy cars and characters, learning about slopes and surfaces. Outdoors, they thought carefully about the animals in our environment—especially squirrels—and how they move from tree to tree. Inspired by this, they began designing fun areas that these creatures might enjoy playing on, combining imagination with environmental awareness.
